Welding unit for performing jobs in narrow gaps

While welding various structures sometimes hard to access places can be found where welding with a standard MIG/MAG welding gun is hampered in particular. This issue has been addressed by designing a special welding unit for welding in narrow gaps. It is compatible with MIG burners of 360/401/501 type.

The complete welding set for narrow gaps comprises of the following components:

• Contact tube
• Contact tip
• Conduit (insulated proection tube)
• Protection cap
• Special gas nozzle

The application of the welding set makes work and welding job much easier in hardly accessible places and mitigates risk of welding defects occurrence in the weld, thanks to maintaining appropriate gas shield of the weld pool.

Special protective layer made of boron nitride, protects the surface of gas nozzle against weld spatters.

The narrow gap welding unit is offered with 4 length options:: 60, 90, 120 i 150 mm.

Exemplary guns compatible with the narrow gap welding unit: SPARTUS Easy SPE36, SPARTUS Master SPM36R, SPARTUS Master SPM401, SPARTUS Pro SPP501.
