The QUARTZ has been designed and created for professional welding using TIG technique of alloys that require good gas shield e.g. various types of titanium alloys, nickel-based alloys and aluminum alloys.
In the QUARTZ system the nozzle diameter is as much as 32mm. It is made of special high temperature resistant glass melt. The application of transparent nozzle offers the user very good visibility of weld pool, which translates, among others, into ability of feeding wire from each side. Additionally it allows to carry out welding operations in hardly accessible spots where standard ceramic nozzle obstructs completely the view for the welder.
Special design of gas lens applied in the QUARTZ system offers perfect gas shield for the electrode, weld pool and their immediate environment. An increased, well-organized gas flow perfectly cools weld and burner elements. The weld made using the QUARTZ system is clean and free of defects.
The QUARTZ system has been designed for operation with standard TIG 17/18/26 welding guns.
